Unisys Selects WebPutty for U.S. Court Case Management Systems

Strategic Partnership Combines WebPutty Technology with Unisys Domain and Consulting Services to Deliver Integrated Judicial IT Systems

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 4, 2003 - WebPutty, Inc., a leading provider of service-oriented architecture (SOA) tools and runtimes today announced that Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has selected the WebPutty Application Platform as a preferred technology for court case management (CCM) systems. WebPutty and Unisys Global Justice and Public Safety Practice will engage in joint sales, marketing and development efforts, and building upon current federal, state, and municipal activity in the United States and abroad.

CCM systems provide end-to-end management of the judicial process, including processing, managing, and reporting critical case data. Systems often manage both court resources - e.g., scheduling of judges and courtrooms - as well as administering cases across their lifespan from case initiation, through filings and trial proceedings, to sentencing.
